On the left you'll find a plaza with restaurants, bars and pizza parlors... a few steps after that, the marina from where the sea tours depart, historical monuments, an oceanographical museum, and the trail to Praia do Forno.
On the right is Atalaia Point, where you can see and reach the towns and beaches of the whole area.
If you'd rather come by car, that's fine! But you can do everything you'd like on foot. The bus station is just 1/2 mile away; buses to Cabo Frio (only 8 miles from here) go by day and night, and to Búzios (about 20 miles) several times a day.
